FUN DAY Devizes, Wiltshire (Kindly hosted by Chris & John Bodman) 20th September 2008
The weather was excellent on the day but due to torrential rain over the last few weeks the field was quite wet in places and a number of people got stuck but a tractor was on hand to help (see below!). It was a fantastic day that raised much needed funds for welfare. Activities and stalls included Companion Show, raffle, auction, introduction to carting, bigdogstuff, sponsored weight lift, grooming, youth events, guess the number of biscuits in the barrel and name the newf.
Food and drinks were available all day, special thanks to the lady in the kitchen who cooked and served food throughout the day and well into the evening. A big thank you to all who organised and helped on the day especially Chris & John Bodman who worked extremely hard over three days to set up, run and clear up after the event. |
