"Thank you to all who came to our 12th Open show held on 13th May at Stoneleigh. It is always a pleasure to meet those attending the show who have a love for our wonderful breed.

Our judge for the day was Mr. Mark Cocozza (Freecloud) who had an entry of 56 dogs totaling 68 entries. Mark went on to award his Best Bitch and Best in Show to Sheena Pallett's brown girl Yulla For Sheenmarie Von Baywatch (Imp Deu) Handled by Lesley Smith. Reserve Best Bitch in Show to Jan and Ciara Groves' Bridgestone Manor of Groves. Best Male and Reserve Best In Show to Helen Hudson and Emma Bone's Newfangled Bone Idle, Reserve Best Male to Colin & Jane Sayle's Ch. Baranova Top Gallant who was also awarded Reserve Best Male in Show & Best Veteran in Show. Best Puppy in Show was Suzanne Blake's young male Sandbears Fourty Four.

On behalf of the SNC Committee, we would like to congratulate you all and thank everyone that helps make this possible, on the day our stewards ensured the super smooth running of the ring, many thanks to Cat Owles and Helen Anderson for your super stewarding. Our sincere thanks as always to our photographer, Paul Dodd. Thank you also to the very hard-working committee for putting the show together also to Jeni for the live updates ensured those who were unable to attend saw the results in real time. Certainly not forgetting all the exhibitors for your entries and attending on the day, your support for our shows is very much appreciated. Masculine and elegant with lovely clean outline and balanced front and rear. Clean well shaped head and dark eye. Strong neck and excellent topline with good depth and well developed ribs. Strong rear and lovely mover keeping his outline standing and moving with good bone feet and tail.

Black dog of good size and substance. Good bone feet and tail. Good depth. Honest dog with moderate balanced angulation and holds himself nicely and moves well.

Masculine black dog. Good head and expression. Good neck, topline and tail. Good bone and feet. Strong rear used on the move. Could be a lightly better in front with a little more reach but otherwise nice type dog, coat a little open.

2nd BARON VON GIZMO

His proportions are good but needs to strengthen all over and drop into himself and coat up a bit. Head proportions are good but has a little too much stop and eye colour good but eye is a little full.

Lovely clean outline and balance. Lovely head and eye shape. Strong neck, good topline and strong rear. Good bone. Holds a nice clean outline standing and moving and has very good profile movement with good tail and powerful rear.

Lovely size and substance. Excellent bone, coat depth and ribs. Moved well in profile, topline ok. Just preferred front and expression on 1st.

Impressive clean outline in profile standing but could be a little more fluid on the move. Masculine dog. Pasterns could be stronger.
